Fettercairn

 Fettercairn is the third biggest village in the Mearns. It is known for its distillery and arch and tourism has gone up in the past few years. The arch was commisioned for the visit of Queen Victoria. There's a hotel, a pub called the Ramsey Arms, a coffee shop, post office and a park. There is also a dance club for adults. There is a good community spirit and residents enjoy living here.

 

When the Youth Forum visited Fettercairn we discovered that the park could be improved with floodlights, that there could be better local transport and more facilities and things to do for young people.
